I’m on RAVELRY! Saturday, Feb 9 2008

Okay, I finally got my invite for Ravelry.  I went on and started messing around with it, but I haven’t done too much with it yet.  My son is home from school right now and has his laptop connected to my internet via a splitter or something.  He also apparently has it constantly downloading or doing something, because my internet on my computer has been running slow ever since he’s been home.  He goes back to school tomorrow, so it should be better then.  Because of that, I haven’t really been doing too much online-wise for the past week.  It just is too much trouble to wait.  Now that I have broadband, I think back to when I had dial-up and wonder how I ever had the patience to do anything online.  LOL

Anyway,  I’ll be updating and looking around Ravelry sometime soon.  Anything in particular I need to check out?

My first blog Tuesday, Jan 22 2008

This is my first time blogging on here. I hope to use this forum to discuss my ongoing trials and tribulations with my knitting projects and the difficulties of being the spouse of a deployed soldier. I don’t expect this deployment to be too difficult, however, because the kids are mostly grown and gone now. Coryn and I are the only ones left at home now, and she will be going to college next year (though she will still be living at home). With Christian away at LSMSA, I don’t have too much that I have to take care of as far as they are concerned.  I’ll be adding pictures of some of my knitting projects (both finished and un) soon.
